=======================
The event lifts and weights per weight class and division is as follows:
Event 1: Pressapalooza
There will be 4 implements on the field, each member will need to pick one of the implements and press it for 60 seconds. All team members will go at the same time, all scores will be added up into one score. All but Viking press must be clean and pressed.
Event 2: Cheating “Death” Lift
The Giant trap bar with wagon wheels will be set up with a starting weight of 135. When the judge says go the team will have 90 seconds to work up to a max on that bar. Teams will load their own bar with 45s, 25s, and 10s only. Each team member must lift 2 times within the 90second time limit or the final “max” will be reduced by 20% for each athlete that did not perform 2 good lifts. Straps, suit, chalk, elbow sleeves, head bands, anything goes but tacky as long as you are the only person lifting the implement.
Event 3: Strongman Corn Hole
3 yokes will be set up with the throwing cross bar set a ascending heights next to the infamous DSRX light pole. Behind each yoke will be a target. 1 team member at a time will have 2attempts to throw their weight classes bag over the pole into the target. Getting the bag over the lowest pole will be 1pt, 2nd lowest 3pts, and the highest 5pts. Getting the bag over the pole and getting it in the target will double the points for that attempt. If an athlete gets the bag over the light pole their team will be awarded 20 points, An attempt at the light pole counts as 1 of the athlete attempts but can only be awarded once! Women’s heights 12’ 13’ and 14’, Men’s heights13’ 14’ and 15’. All teams’ members points will be added together for a total score.
Event 4: Odd Object Relay
All implements to be moved 50’ by one athlete in this order: Frame carry with ~100lbs chain dragging from back- Bear hug keg carry- Shouldered sandbag carry- Overhead yoke or spud inc strap carry. This relay will be done for time, fastest team time wins.
Event 5: No chain left behind
A 710lbs anchor chain will start behind a line on a 20’ course. All 4 team members will participate at the same time trying to find a way to move the chain back and forth on the 20’ course in a 2-minute time limit. Every 20’ drag completed will equal 1 point.
